Linking Connections Learning Center and the Person County Recreation, Arts and Parks Department will be partnering together this year for Summer Day Camp. Registration is now underway. To register, sign up at the Recreation Department between the hours of 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Monday through Friday or you can go online to our website: https://personcounty.recdesk.com/.

The Summer Day Camp program is intended to provide a healthy and enjoyable summer experience for children 6 - 11 (must be age 6 by August 31, 2023, and cannot be age 12 on or before August 31, 2023).

The program will operate for nine consecutive weeks from June 12 through August 11, Monday through Friday and will be based in the air-conditioned Huck Sansbury gym.  Registration is limited to 100, so hurry and register now.  There will be no camp on July 4, 2023.

The hours and pricing is as follows:

7:30 am – 6:00 pm      $1380.50 This price includes the $125 registration fee (non-refundable) and the cost of nine weeks of camp.

The registration deadline for summer camp is June 5th at 5:00 pm.  For anyone registering after the deadline, payment in full is due at the time of registration.  Registration after June 5th is on a space-available basis. 

Birth certificates are required unless already on file at the Parks and Recreation Department. Registration is on a first come first serve basis with only 100 spots available.
