Mayo Park offers RV campsites, primitive tent sites, cabins, and tent sites with electricity. In addition to camping, Mayo Park offers lake access to boaters, canoeing, kayaking, paddle boarding and ADA accessible fishing pier, three playgrounds, a nine hole disc golf course, and eight picnic shelters. All Mayo Park facilities are convenient to restrooms and are connected by nearly six miles of natural trails.

If you're planning any large event, Mayo Park's Environmental Education and Community Center, a large meeting room connected to the Mayo Park offices, is also available for rent. The Mayo Park EECC is not only a reservable space; it's also an exhibit hall containing wildlife, cultural and community exhibits that reflect Person County's natural heritage and its history. Immediately adjacent to the EECC is Mayo Park's Amphitheater. Our Amphitheater is the perfect venue for a wedding or any other large scale community event.

What sets Mayo Park apart from other campgrounds is it's year round outdoor oriented programming. Mayo Park's programming includes canoe and kayak races, 5K trail races, interpretive nature hikes, concerts and movie screenings at our amphitheater, fishing tournaments and programs for youths and adults, educational seminars, and canoe tours.
