Mayo Park Rules and Regulations

All Campers must check in with the Park Ranger, Parks Superintendent or office assistant before proceeding to their campsite.

Check in time is 3:00pm. Check out time is 1:00pm.

No swimming areas are available

The possession, consumption or use of alcoholic beverages or controlled substances is strictly prohibited.

Park areas will be closed at sundown for the protection of our guests

The main gate closes at 8:00pm when campers are in the park, and 4:00pm when campers are not in the park.

Campground quiet hours are from 10:00pm, until 7:00am.

Tents are limited to two per site.

For the safety of your property, camping equipment should not be unattended for more than twelve hours.

A maximum of six persons are allowed per campsite.

All pets must be kept on a leash not over six feet in length.

Pets are not allowed in cabins.

Illegal firearms are prohibited

Fireworks are strictly prohibited.

Fires outside of the fire pits, fireplaces or grills are prohibited.

All unlicensed motor vehicles, (mini and motor bikes, go-carts, etc) and unlicensed drivers or operators are prohibited.

Destruction, injury, defacement, possession harassment, or removal of any artifact, plant, tree, or wild animal is strictly prohibited.

The use or possession of a chainsaw for any reason is strictly prohibited.

Driving of nails or other objects into trees for the hanging of lanterns, or for any other purpose, is prohibited.

Violations of Mayo Park rules and regulations can result in the revocation of camping permits.
