This incredible program is open to all Person County 3^rd Graders, who attend traditional and charter schools. Each third-grade class has the chance to visit the Kirby for a day of theater and creative interaction. Students engage in rotating art, movement, music and theater workshops, and have the opportunity to see a live performance, featuring actors from Bright Star Theatre Company. These field trips help the students apply school concepts to real world experiences, fostering the development of critical thinking skills and learning outside the classroom. This program has received past support from and the Person County Education Foundation and the Duke Energy Foundation.
