Featuring: Sappony Tribe members

Come see the beautiful art of the Sappony tribe! The Sappony, a tribe of about 850 members, have called Person County, North Carolina and Halifax County, Virginia home for hundreds of years.

This month-long exhibit in honor of American Indian Heritage Month celebrates the generations of endurance through many mediums including quilting, basketry, jewelry, painting, photography, drawing, poetry, carving and more!

Artist members of the Sappony tribe will be on hand Friday, November 1 6:00 - 8:00 to speak about their art.
