Human or pet contact with any wild animal should be reported to Animal Services immediately. For emergencies with wildlife and humans or pets, call 911, and an Animal Services Deputy will be dispatched. If you are bitten or scratched by a wild animal, remain calm, cleanse the wound well with soap and water and seek medical attention as soon as possible. Wild animals can carry many diseases, such as Rabies, and it is VERY important to contact a doctor immediately.
