The Person County Public Library’s Adult Services program provides a variety of services for ages 16 and up. Throughout each month, there are various education based programs available for free. Programs include crafting, games, and educational workshops. Librarians are also available to provide tech help by appointment. Inside of the library and on our website you will be able to find a variety of materials and resources including, fiction, nonfiction, CDs, DVDS, audiobooks, newspapers, magazines, larger print, a seed library and paperbacks.  Technology Help

Librarians can assist with a variety of technology needs including:

  • Basic Computer Skills (Basic Typing, Clicking, Navigating to Websites)
  • Saving, Uploading, Printing and Scanning Documents
  • Locating online tutorials for resume building and beginner level computer courses. 

The library accepts walk-ins for technology help. Walk-in help is limited to 15 minutes at a time to ensure that all community members can receive needed support. For extensive support please call ahead to schedule a one-on-one hour long appointment with a librarian at 336-597-7881. 

The library encourages all members of the public to continue lifelong learning of digital skills. Through a variety of provided online free resources through the library, you can learn, Microsoft Office, Cybersecurity Basics, and Internet Basics. 

At this time, Librarians are unable to provide technological legal or medical assistance or advice. For this type of technology assistance you can visit Legalaidnc.gov for more information related to North Carolina legal aid inquiries.
