The Lead Program helps identify and address elevated blood lead levels in children, which can cause developmental problems in children under the age of six. Environmental Health Specialists work collaboratively with other Health Department staff, and regional specialists with the Division of Environmental Health, to identify and remediate environmental sources of lead.
