My name is Jason Wilborn, but more commonly known by my nickname "Skeet." I was born and raised in Roxboro, NC. I am a Basic Law Enforcement Training graduate of the class of 1999. I have more than 23 years of Law Enforcement Service and currently serve as the Elected Sheriff of Person County. Throughout my career, I have held the titles of Police Officer, Deputy Sheriff, Narcotics Investigator, Criminal Investigator, Sergeant Investigator, Patrol Sergeant, Admin Captain, Major of day-to-day activities, and Chief Deputy. During my career, I have had the opportunity to seek training in numerous topics where I have received certifications to instruct on those topics. Those topics include General Instructor for the State of NC, Specialized Firearms Instructor for the State of NC, Carry Concealed Instructor, and How to Survive an Active Shooter (Rapid Response) instructor for private citizens.
