Be sure to mark your calendars for Dog Day Out an event on Sunday, October 7th from 2:00pm – 4:00pm at Huck Sansbury Park.

You are invited to bring your mutt and let him strut! The Person County 4-H Program wants to encourage pet owners and their pets to be healthier. This event will include an area of booths providing information to pet owners on how to take care of, groom and train your pet. There will also be the 4-H dog show where you will have the opportunity to enter your canine friend in two of 20 different fun categories ranging from most beautiful to best trick. To register, simply visit the Dog Day Out Registration website or download a Registration Form and mail it in. All registrations are due by October 3rd.

Join the fun and enter your dog in this free friendly competition designed to help you and your animal eat smart and move more here in Person County. Any and all dogs are welcome, regardless of pedigree.
