The Roxboro City Council and Planning Board will meet together on August 1, 2022 for a Joint Planning Discussion. This meeting will provide an opportunity for the two boards to discuss long-range planning for the City of Roxboro. Specific topics for discussion during this meeting include (1) Summary of existing residential development characteristics, (2) Discussion of Council/Planning Board vision for new residential development, (3) Comparison of existing residential development characteristics and ordinances with similar municipalities across NC.

This discussion session may be the first of additional discussions. No individual land use applications or permits will be voted on during this meeting. 

The meeting will take place in the Roxboro Police Department Training Room on August 1st, at 6pm. This meeting is open to the public, but there will be no public comment period or public hearing for this meeting.
