Roxboro Little Theater Production:

Recommended for ages ten and up. Participants should arrive early to complete the required forms. During auditions, participants may be asked to perform a “cold read” of the script as chosen by the director, and sing at least one verse of a hymn. For anyone auditioning to be in the band, please come prepared to play at least two verses of one hymn and be able to demonstrate your own bluegrass style. Rehearsal dates will be available during auditions.  

Come celebrate Christmas at the Kirby with bluegrass gospel and touching stories that will warm your heart and soul! This special musical is a sequel to the smash hit Smoke on the Mountain, and features the same loving family, the Sanders, as they prepare for Christmas in a small North Carolina town. It’s the winter of 1941, and young Dennis Sanders, along with his family, friends and community, must face leaving his home to join the war effort.

Audition Dates: Tuesday October 8th and Wednesday October 9th, between 7-8:30pm

Production Dates: December 13th & 14th at 7:30, December 15th at 3:00 pm
